Colombian research in the UK. 6th Annual Summit: Looking back and moving forward

The 2019 summit, "Colombia’s Bicentenary: Looking Back and Moving Forward", will take place in the University College London, and seeks to bring together researchers from various disciplines who have an interest in Colombia, allowing them to share their research and experience, exchange ideas, and discuss ways to generate impact on Colombia.

While the themes of the summit will be wide-ranging, the bicentenary of Colombia’s independence will provide a common framework to reflect on the role of knowledge and research in the ongoing process of nation-building of our country. The summit will include:

• Presentations of research experiences in the context of networks and bioscience.
• A discussion on the role of medical sciences in the design of the public policy.
• An analysis of social research practice, process and action in the Colombian context.
• Keynote speakers.
