Gabriela Doria

PhD Candidate in Plant Sciences, University of Cambridge

​

Gabriela is a Biologist from the National University of Colombia in Bogota and holds Masters in Earth and Environmental Sciences and Forestry from Wesleyan and Yale University. Her research interests are in the evolution and diversification of flowering plants and the interaction between flowers and their animal pollinators. Gabriela is a COLCIENCIAS/Newton-Caldas Fund/ Cambridge Trust Scholar, has just completed her PhD dissertation in Plant Sciences and will receive her degree from Wolfson College, Cambridge in the Winter of 2019. She is one of the founder members of the University of Cambridge Colombian Society, an avid participant in science communication and outreach projects, and enjoys playing football and filmmaking.
