Diana is currently a PhD History candidate at the University of Exeter, UK. Her thesis project is an environmental history of the Colombian peasant landscape and changes in the peasantry’s states of food security and sovereignty, as a consequence of the practical resolution of the Agrarian Question on the field - which she has re-named the "Food Question". Her main goal is to deliver a multidisciplinary investigation, combining rural studies and food security theory with environmental history methods of research, with potential practical impact and to inform current food production debates.
